About SkyFuns
SkyFuns was born in 2025 from the belief that general aviation should be more accessible to both passengers and pilots. Pilots want to reduce the cost of flying. Passengers want a unique experience at an affordable price. We connect both so everyone wins.
The founders know the opportunities, problems, and complications of aviation first-hand. SkyFuns was created to help general aviation become more accessible, better integrated, and more beneficial from a social, economic, and community perspective.
The founders
How SkyFuns began
SkyFuns started after seeing that general aviation is still difficult to access, often fragmented, and not always well connected to the people who could benefit from it. The project was created to respond to that gap with a clearer and more useful approach.
Legal Framework
SkyFuns connects private pilots and passengers to share flights and reduce the cost of general aviation. Flights are conducted under the European cost-sharing framework defined in Article 6 (4a) of an amended version of Regulation (EU) No 965/2012, meaning pilots share direct costs without operating commercially.

SkyFuns is driven by founders who understand aviation directly and bring complementary perspectives from private flying.

Commercial pilot. Ricardo brings practical operational knowledge and industry perspective shaped by professional aviation and the realities of the wider sector.
